Don’t look for the darkness in others

Being free of judgement and evaluation of others means being able to remain connected to and compassionate with people who do not share the same views as you.

In an increasingly polarised world, it is more important than ever to see others as another human soul and equal, to be able to look for what connects us rather than what our minds use to separate us.

If we have a different view it does not make another right or wrong, good or bad, they are just holding a different view. The more empathy and compassion we show each other and the more we seek to understand others first, the more we can converse.

We are the one life, we are the one human race and underneath the judgements and egos, we are one.

Don’t have someone for a difference, love them for what we share. Look always for the light, not the darkness.

Taking it for granted

Seeking certainty and removing all risk has become a human obsession, so much so that we are frightened to live.

However, this is a futile pursuit as nothing is ever certain, we can not remove risk. There are a simply no guarantees.

None of us know what is around the corner in life, so let go, don’t hate, worry, judge or fear. Enjoy this moment and smile, laugh, be kind, tell someone you love them, dance, skip, do that thing you have been wanting to do but worried and put off. Live now.

Enjoy this moment right now…we have no idea how many more we have.

Be grateful for all you have and and grateful for life, an amazing gift that we can often take for granted.
