Ditching fitting in

Fitting in is something we feel we need to do, so much so, that even when there is no one there, we still behave in a way that would be seen to be normal.

We are afraid of being different and that fear prevents us from being our true selves. We suffer within from that fear of not fitting in, of being judged for being different and at the same time we suffer from not being who we truly are.

Perhaps it’s better to lose all the suffering…just be ourselves no matter what. Ditch fitting in and just be.

Don’t look for the darkness in others

Being free of judgement and evaluation of others means being able to remain connected to and compassionate with people who do not share the same views as you.

In an increasingly polarised world, it is more important than ever to see others as another human soul and equal, to be able to look for what connects us rather than what our minds use to separate us.

If we have a different view it does not make another right or wrong, good or bad, they are just holding a different view. The more empathy and compassion we show each other and the more we seek to understand others first, the more we can converse.

We are the one life, we are the one human race and underneath the judgements and egos, we are one.

Don’t have someone for a difference, love them for what we share. Look always for the light, not the darkness.
