We can be nobody

To be truly free we need to step off the path, let go of fitting in, to not feel we have to follow the crowd, to not have to agree with someone, to not have to be polite, to not worry that we might offend someone.

We have to be ourselves, not the ego-driven self-image that the mind creates, I mean our true essence from our soul.

We have to break the chains of conformity and be brave enough to be vulnerable and show the world the true light from within us

We’ll spend a lifetime being polite, agreeing, fitting in and doing what others want and yet suffer from not being able to be ourselves.

Freedom is to just be. We don’t have to become anything, we can be nobody and be content that we no longer have to be constrained by mind created roles we feel we have to play to be liked and fit in.

What is bravery?

We are conditioned to believe that strength is to do with being tough, not letting our guard down, not showing emotion and just ‘sucking it up’.

The reality is that numbing the bad means we numb the good too. So we suffer behind our armour. Just to keep up the facade.

True bravery is being vulnerable and open. It means being able to be true to our real soul not placating the mind and its ego with shields and dishonesty. It means taking the armour off.

To be strong in a true non-egotistical way is to be true to ourselves no matter what. Easily written more challenging to do.

Acceptance and surrender to what is requires bravery. Denial is just another form of suffering while maintaining appearances for others to see.
