When we let go we not only bring peace within to ourselves but we bring peace to the other person.
Our burdens within are transmitted to others and they sense and feel them too.
There is individual suffering and there is collective suffering.
Our act of surrender to what is, as in already happened and our willingness to not allow it to matter, to be at peace with it internally, then allows our light to transfer to others.
We can collectively heal as well as on our own.
We don’t have to wait for others, we can be first.
Whatever happens, it has happened, so the less energy we expend on whatever has already occurred, the better for us. Situations arise in life and as they do, it has already arisen, it has happened, we can not change it. It instantly becomes the past as each moment unfolds.
When we do not like something that has occurred, we almost want to deny it has happened, or look to blame someone or ourselves. We give all our energy to this and often become angry or frustrated and think about why it happened. ‘Why me’.
Then once we’ve suffered from the event and the denial, the mind moves onto all the terrible things that will likely now occur as a consequence. The mind has now switched from the denial of the past to the psychological fear created by the fantasy that is the future. So we switch from annoyance to fear.
Suffering from events is based on the mind’s denial of what is and then the projection of what might happen. Neither of these activities of the mind is anything other than just thought, it is not real.
This moment is real and if we always accept what is as it is, then act now, if we choose and then do not waste any further energy, then we are free from suffering, at peace. We might not like what is happened, but we accept it has, when we surrender to what is, then we are free from burden and are able to move on.
