Small steps now

The struggles on the surface of our unconscious mind-controlled life of past and future are not real. Most humans for most of their existence spend their time trapped within a mind-made self, a story, created by thought. None of this thought is our actual real life that is this conscious moment, the moment that is forever now.

Yet, through our conditioning, we believe this unconscious state is real and normal.

It is in fact, insanity.

When we are fully conscious and awake, aware fully of our surroundings, our inner energy, our own breathing, our own connectedness with all that is, then the mind state dissolves, thought leaves. In this state, we do not allow our emotions and reactions to control us, we do not allow our thoughts to be energised and to be taken seriously.

We are then not likely to have hate, anger, jealousy, judgement, addictions, highs and lows, and we are likely to be still, silent and at peace.

Once we start on this path towards inner peace, then it is the beginning of the end of suffering and pain that is the mind-state. However, like all things, we have to be prepared to sacrifice, to commit to a spiritual practice, to unlearn our conditioning and to accept what is.

Small steps taken now is the path to inner peace.

Dark brings light

If we accept that life always will have dark times, then the inner surrender to what is, and to that, will enable us to be at peace, to be free from resistance and our inner light can shine for us.

The universe will work with us once we accept what is and are at peace with it. Whatever occurs in life, when we realise it has occurred, it is instantly the past, it no longer exists except for in our mind. Therefore, when we let go of the emotions and reactions surrounding what has happened we are instantly at peace. We have chosen to say it does not matter.

That does not mean we are happy about everything whatever, it just means below the turbulence on the surface of life, is always inner calm and stillness. From the challenges in life we expand in their experience and they bring us riches.

We are able to see our patterns of reaction, emotion and thoughts more clearly the darker the situations that occur.

The level of resistance brings the corresponding level of emotion, thought and reaction. Letting go dissolves this all.

It’s the dark things that bring us the light.

The darker they are the stronger the light comes.
