Theories

We so often in life add 2 and 2 and make whatever the mind wants it to be. No matter what others say or do, we always end up with the same theory in our head…because that’s what our story within wants.

Once we have a theory, and it always how it affects us and usually we see ourselves as being the victim, then the mind will filter anything it sees or hears with that theory. So everything fits the theory. We find what we are looking for regardless of the reality.

Then, unsurprisingly, our theory quiet often seems to come to pass!

We manifest our own reality by attaching ourselves to the mind and its thoughts.

If we just accept what is and allow others to be, we can just be too. Then whatever happens, happens, which it will anyway whatever we think. If we remove the judgemental lenses, then we see people and things without the need to evaluate or fit it to our ‘theory’. The theory is just a fantasy projection in our head into the fiction that is the unreal future…the future doesn’t exist except in our mind.

Drama always finds more drama, victims always become more victimised and bad things always find more bad things. We can choose to have none of it if we step away from the mind and its theories.

Free from the burden of events

Whatever happens, it has happened, so the less energy we expend on whatever has already occurred, the better for us. Situations arise in life and as they do, it has already arisen, it has happened, we can not change it. It instantly becomes the past as each moment unfolds.

When we do not like something that has occurred, we almost want to deny it has happened, or look to blame someone or ourselves. We give all our energy to this and often become angry or frustrated and think about why it happened. ‘Why me’.

Then once we’ve suffered from the event and the denial, the mind moves onto all the terrible things that will likely now occur as a consequence. The mind has now switched from the denial of the past to the psychological fear created by the fantasy that is the future. So we switch from annoyance to fear.

Suffering from events is based on the mind’s denial of what is and then the projection of what might happen. Neither of these activities of the mind is anything other than just thought, it is not real.

This moment is real and if we always accept what is as it is, then act now, if we choose and then do not waste any further energy, then we are free from suffering, at peace. We might not like what is happened, but we accept it has, when we surrender to what is, then we are free from burden and are able to move on.
