A simple thing

Every day there is an opportunity, well endless opportunities not just one, but we can, if we choose to, take at least one opportunity to lighten up someone else’s path. We all have our struggles and it’s not our judgement, criticism, questioning, or advice others need it is our listening, understanding, compassion and kindness they need.

A hug, a smile, a kiss, a kind deed, a kind gesture, a laugh, a kind word, a compliment, a song, a dance, something that we can do for someone we love or for a complete stranger.

In fact, doing something for a stranger shows we are all just one human race, the one life, a collection of beautiful human souls that are hidden behind our ego’s, judgements, anger, frustration, fear, hate and the lenses of our minds.

A simple act of kindness for a stranger is what makes us human.

What suit will you be wearing today?

What ‘suit’ will you wear today? The same one or maybe different ones throughout the day to match the changes of roles our mind get us to act out? We play many different ones without even realising it. Of course, each one has its suffering within to accompany the outward act.

Underneath all the different costumes we wear is the real you and me, and while we are all unique, we share one thing that unites us all, we are the one life of human souls that comes from the ball of energy that is all life and matter in the universe. We are all the one life.

Stop wearing different suits to pander to the needs of our egos and be you, the beautiful human soul and free to see all other humans as equal and to connect without the prejudices of our mind and its lenses. We become free when we take off the costumes and we end the suffering within.

Underneath the masquerade of our many ‘suits’ lies the real you and me…where we all have the same suit, a human soul.
