What is bravery?

We are conditioned to believe that strength is to do with being tough, not letting our guard down, not showing emotion and just ‘sucking it up’.

The reality is that numbing the bad means we numb the good too. So we suffer behind our armour. Just to keep up the facade.

True bravery is being vulnerable and open. It means being able to be true to our real soul not placating the mind and its ego with shields and dishonesty. It means taking the armour off.

To be strong in a true non-egotistical way is to be true to ourselves no matter what. Easily written more challenging to do.

Acceptance and surrender to what is requires bravery. Denial is just another form of suffering while maintaining appearances for others to see.

The wrong key

We spend our whole life trying to unlock the next thing in life using the wrong key.

The key breaks and instead of cutting the right key, we use the same key again, and again, and again. Suffering at each broken key. We keep being taught the same lesson, yet we cling on and do the same. Comfortable in our discomfort.

If we want to unlock life we have to learn and change the key to open the doors we want.
