Lighthouses

We do not need to set out to help others…people are not broken and do not need fixing.

Yet we set out with what we believe is a good intention to change or fix others as they appear broken through the lens of our mind’s view of them. They haven’t asked to be fixed or changed and what was good for our journey isn’t their journey. We are all on our own path.

Of course, we can be a light and example for others to help them if they need it or to inspire them.

After all, a lighthouse does not sail the seas looking for ships to help, it shines its light for them when they need it.

The sun and the moon

The rising sun brings hope
Light breaks the night
Warmth wraps us
Shining bright with energy
The sun is life for all

The sun is the new day
The sun is the fresh start
The sun clears the despair
The sun brings us joy
The sun passes and let's in the night

The moon rises as the sun fades
The darkness is given hope
The shiver is less
The fear fades
The moon is the beacon of hope of the night

The sun still dances with the moon
The moon needs the sun to be
The moon will pass too
And give way to its friend
The sun comes to start hope again

The sun and the moon
The yin and yang
The universe and life
The balance 
One exists for the other
Light exist because of dark
