We are not our foot

The thing is, being in the moment is straight forward at times and at other times we get dragged into our thoughts and we become unconscious within the mind.

It is journey and our level of consciousness grows. We have to undo years, often a lifetime, of conditioning that convinces us that we are our mind.

However, once we experience the conscious moment free from the mind and its endless repetitive thought patterns we never will go back to continual unconsciousness. It is the beginning of the end of our association with the mind and ego.

We realise we are no longer our mind, it is just a part of us, the same as our foot is.

Thinker or a being?

By Philip Dodson

Be a thinker or a being, we can’t be both.

Thinking is of the mind and its never ending nonsense and ramblings of contradiction and fear.

Being is of the soul and is simply that…just being.
