We are always wanting to be at the next thing, and when we get to that we want to be somewhere else.
The mind is always seeking something.
This endless treadmill of discontentment with this moment now is the cause of great stress, anxiety, unhappiness and suffering for us. Always believing something better is coming rather than this ‘ordinary’ moment.
Be content with now, real life consist of this never ending eternal ‘now’ moment. It is where all things happen in our life, the rest is in our mind and is not real.
To see them you need to stop looking for what you do not have and be grateful for what you already have. A position of gratitude and no resistance.
This changes us from a mind-obsessed position of resistance and disappointment searching constantly for more to a soul-filled position of peace and calm, awareness and acceptance. No more fighting, no more looking for something to fulfil us.
All that we need we have and all that we need to grow is there if we stop looking and just see.
