Awareness

Awareness is a huge step towards growth and change.

If we are aware of our thoughts, emotions, reactions, feelings, then we are awake and conscious. It means we have realised that we are not any them, that we are the witness of those things.

The true being that we are can only flourish once we realise that we are not those things.

Being aware of our thought, feelings, reactions, and the resulting emotions enables us to be able to change them, to accept them, to stop associating our true self with them.

Inner peace comes when we are aware as it means we are conscious and have transcended the mind.

As good as it gets

We waste much of our existence thinking of a better one than what we believe we have now.

Never experiencing better because we are always thinking of it so we miss what is actually happening. Never experiencing now as we are stuck in thought.

We miss our own life in the unconsciousness of our minds.

Now is as good as it will ever get, so enjoy it, now. Just stop thinking and start experiencing.
