Closed off

Posted on 15/04/2022 by philipdodson

When we think we know it all we close ourselves off to life.

We stop seeing, feeling, hearing or experiencing other people or any adventure.

Leaving shore

Posted on 28/12/2017 by philipdodson

We stare out to the horizon.

We watch the waves.

We dream of adventure.

We dream of new and distant lands.

We long for something new, exciting, different.

Yet we stay on the beach.

It’s safe, comfortable, and the sea is far too scary.

Leaving shore…why don’t we?
