Life without

I could take life without a spoon, an Xbox, a smartphone, the internet, yeah I really did say that as I am publishing another blog on it, I could always publish it old school as say a paper. Much of what the world holds up as important, I and you could do without. In fact, we’d be better off without.

I couldn’t live without art, music, people, nature, books, and most of all love. Imagine a world without any pictures or music. Even more, imagine a life without having love, there is no life. Yet the world is filled with hate and for example, the arts considered as a waste of time. Now, miraculously, healthcare specialists finally waking up to the benefits to our mental and physical health of being in nature, wow what a revelation eh!

Strange how much not having the internet seems to stress the whole world out more than say, not having time to appreciate art or being loving towards each other. Hate is the norm, but we could all do without it.

Moments of serenity

When I do my daily art, I feel completely calm, relaxed and tranquil.

A moment away from the world, a moment of peace.

It is a form of meditation.

Art is a human thing, a gift, we are all artists, we all have our own unique talents.

If you do not do any form of art, which could be writing, visual art, playing an instrument, making something, singing…and so on, then I urge you to take time to squeeze it into your daily routine.

No need to share it, although, I do believe that sharing things helps make connection with others, which is another critical thing for us humans, and it helps in the process of getting even better at something.

I am truly grateful that I have chosen to practice art on a daily basis, it has had such a huge impact on my life.

A moment of serenity is what I have every day of my life and that is something that I would not swap for anything.
