If we expect plain sailing and smooth seas, we will be disappointed.
Life is always going to bring the ups and the downs. No ‘good’ thing will last and no ‘bad’ thing will either.
Everything is temporary on the surface of our time bound life situation.
Deep within our true essence and soul however, is like the bottom of the lake calm whatever is happening on the surface. Whether good or bad according to the mind and its labels, deep beyond thought is eternal peace.
Peace is within us always whatever the ups and downs. We can only access the peace in the present moment that is now.
