The Sea – by Philip Dodson

The sea comes calm
It comes rough
It’s blue
Never blue

The sea goes in
It goes out
The sea brings life
It brings death
It is the creator
And the taker

The sea is the blood
That the planet lives by
The sea is the connector
The sea is the destroyer
The sea is high
The sea is low

The sea is everything
The yin
And the yang
The very essence
The sea is temporary
Yet permanent

The sea it’s mesmerising
The sea it calms
The sea brings peace
The sea is
The light
The sea

Yin yang

It’s all a question of perspective.

We can wallow in the dark, search for the criticism, hand out the judgment, be negative. Be the Yin.

Or we can choose to look for the light.

Both light and dark exist, but searching for the light brings us the magic of life.

Be the Yang.

Yin or yang? Like everything in life, it’s a choice we have the power to make.
