Reactions

Did it matter?

All those rants, all those arguments, all that shouting, all the crying, all the feuds, all the revenge, all the suffering.

Did it change anything? Did it make you feel better? Did the other person feel better towards you?

If we accept others as they are, if we accept everything as it is, if we are at peace at what has already occurred, then there is no need for suffering for ourselves or others.

We can still have a view, we can still voice what we feel, it’s just we will do it without the emotional attachment.

Suffering is always a choice, emotions are the chemical turbulence within the body caused by our egocentric stories and thoughts. Once we react, we suffer.

Nothing matters unless we choose to make it so.

Dreading tomorrow

If we are consistently dreading the next day, especially on a Sunday, then it isn’t time to do another job.

If we change jobs, the same issues within will continue at the new job.

If we do not like our home life and partner, changing our partner will not change our situation.

All change is related to change within us. We create our own reality of our life.

If we dread something or someone, the only way it will change is if we change ourselves.
