I think, therefore…

If we took the energy and time that we spend thinking each day and used that to consciously focus on the present moment, free from the mental noise, just imagine how different our life would be.

60,000 thoughts per day on average, with probably 59,999 being thoughts that we had an hour ago, a day ago, a month ago, in fact, for an entire lifetime.

Silencing the mind creates space within, space for new things to arise from our very essence and with that space we can allow them to grow and to be manifested. If there is only constant thought, then there is no space for anything else.

The ability to think does not prove existence. The conscious awareness that witnesses our thought and other senses prove that our true being is the awareness, the knower, that is beyond thought. We are not our mind.

I think, therefore I’m nothing but thought.

Space within

The thousands and thousands of repetitive thoughts that we have every day allow no space within us for new things to come. We are deadened to our true selves by the exhaustive mindstreams that dominate our unconscious state.

If we learn how to observe, rather than energise these frankly useless thoughts that are there 24/7, then we create space within us. This requires us to be the silent witness to thoughts, to be aware and awake in the present moment that is our true real life.

That space can then allow new things to arise from within us from our essence, from our energy, from our soul, that we are normally are unaware of in our unconscious mind obsessed state.

When we create space and allow our very essence to flow and rise up like a babbling brook amazing things start to evolve and take shape.
