Life situation

Our life situation is in the mind and is time-based, made up of past, present and future. Rarely is the mind focused on the present, it is always in the past or the future. Our whole life situation is time-based as we go from one thing to another on a schedule.

When we are at breakfast, the mind has raced ahead to the next thing, so we do not notice breakfast. When we arrive at the next thing, such as a meeting or shopping, we do not notice that either as the mind has moved onto what’s next and so on, for a whole lifetime. We are in time-focused unconscious mind-state for most of our existence, rarely experiencing now.

So if we are in the mind and our life situation, we are never, or rarely, present in our actual real life, the one that has no time other than now. Time is a construct of the human mind to enable the mind to project forward or search back. It is not relevant to our real conscious life, it only applies in the mind-based insane world of our life situation.

All the things that happen in the life situation are just a fantasy of the mind.

Money off

Money off could be useful if you actually needed something.

However, most of the Black Friday spending will be on items we as humans don’t really need and often we’re replacing a slightly outdated version of the same thing, perhaps purchased a year previously via a ‘too good to be missed’ Black Friday deal.

When we sit an analyse our life, it is unlikely that we will cherish the often dubious savings we made on items of no real use other than to satisfy our egos and to give us something to exchange the trinkets we were so lucky to receive for working for the industrialised corporate machine.

We could choose to stop looking for money off and savings. Perhaps we could spend our time instead actually giving to others who really do need something.

Money off stuff we do not need so that we can buy more of it with the savings we make – it’s insanity when you stop to analyse it.
