Never underestimate what you do
Today is the 44th anniversary of Hip Hop, according to Google, when on the 11th August 1973 a DJ known as Kool Herc invented the elongated ‘break’ that lead to the start of Hip Hop.
The thing is when he did that, he would have had no idea what was going to evolve from that and the changes that happened in music and culture from there.
We never know what will come from the things that we create, it’s uncertain and therefore it is not to be underestimated.
The one certainty is if we don’t create nothing will change or happen.
None of us knows where our creations will lead us and effects it could bring to the world.
Just keeping going.
