Follow that!!

That is always the challenge when you create something that others really love, share and comment on.

A seed of doubt creeps in and then you think ‘maybe that was a one-off’ or ‘maybe it was a fluke and the next thing I create won’t be as good’.

The reality is, it wasn’t a fluke or a one-off. It was the result of all the unique talent we all have, and the only way to find out is to share again, and again, and again. It was the result of years of trying, adapting, modifying and learning.

The thing is keep going with your creating, and the only time to stop is when you have grown tired of creating. Once you reach that point, then the point of life has ended. We are here to create, to make, to build, to do something unique that will make a difference and leave a legacy.

We all have an obligation to use this once in an eternity gift of a lifetime. Why waste it never finding out what we are truly capable of creating? Why waste it fulfilling another person’s dream? Why waste it never trying? Why not create and keep creating? There is no other reason to live.

You can read every great self-help book, listen to lot’s of intelligent people, you can have all the knowledge of a lifetime at your fingertips. But it is worthless, unless you apply that knowledge to the now and the future.

All this learning is of little benefit otherwise, other than to remind you the next time you make the same mistake, that you had already done that before and not learnt.

Apply the knowledge, that you’ve had to spend a great deal of time learning, often in some cases quite painfully.

The main thing that holds us back is fear of applying it, as that often requires changing ourselves.

So be bold, make the changes and apply the knowledge.
