Acting against ourselves

Behaviour is often more to do with how we think others will perceive us than what we truly feel.

Yet, we are all doing the same, more worried about appearances to others than being authentic.

Being authentic is hard as we are conditioned to consider what others think and it leaves us feeling like we are in the wilderness when we don’t conform, no longer fitting in.

Mad how we condition ourselves as humans to act against our true selves to satisfy the imagined view of us by another.

Our true self

The path opens up with each new step, the path will light up if we are brave, courageous and vulnerable enough to keep walking it.

The wild woods are scary, the dessert is baron, the dark is unknown, but if we are really willing to be true to ourselves, to be patient, to find true belonging and to act only from the heart and abandon the ego, the minds sabotaging thoughts and to allow our true essence to flow and our own light to shine then that is the real state of being.

To be love, to be joy, to just be our authentic true self, to be at peace and at one with all that is and not to continue to live as this separate person that the mind constructed for us.
