Joy or not? How to declutter

Look at what you own, your possessions, your stuff, how much of  do you keep yet never use?

Our wellness is massively enhanced mentally and consequently physically by having a clutter free living space. Yet a good number of us accumulate a great deal of stuff.

Do you have things you’ve not touched or looked at, say, for a month? A year? 2 years? 5 years? Maybe since childhood.

Often, when we come to have a clear out it’s hard to decide, we can soon make a case to keep any item.

A simple way to decide is to pick up the item and if it instantly gives you joy, then you have the answer.

Once you have decluttered you can then have space and make accessible all those things that bring you joy.

We are not the music maker for others

People can be pressured by others to dance to our tune but sooner or later they become deaf to our tune and start to dance to another tune of their choice.

Coercion, control and pressure never work in any relationship with others.

We are not here to make the music for others, we are here to make our own. Sure, that may inspire others, that is, of course, their choice if they choose to dance along too.
