The light is coming

Today is the winter solstice in the northern hemisphere.

So from today, every day will get slightly lighter, will be slightly longer.

But, the difference in the amount of light from one day to the next is hardly noticeable for months, not until March maybe is there any significant difference.

Life is the same, small changes add up to a big deal, and the little daily steps count but we can’t see the results initially. So often we give up.

Keep going in the dark days as the light will always come if we work at it and make the small daily commitments.

What if there was no money?

People say that money is why people work.

If you didn’t have money, then no one would do anything is the argument. But money is only any good if we all believe in it. Otherwise it’s quite useless.

However, the best things in life are created through love, commitment, passion and purpose. Not by money.

The problem the world has is that the myth of money has allowed a tiny few to control all the resources by accumulating all the money. In return they allow us to have just enough money to keep us working and buying/consuming their stuff. Great setup, but only for them.

What if money was eliminated? What if we were all given the same opportunities? What if the resources were shared fairly?

If the resources went to those who created things they loved instead of those with money then what an amazing world we could have.

Think about all the wonderful things that could be created.

Many would be scared by this idea, think it utopian, pie in the sky, something to be consigned to fluffy world.

Yet, we are all happy to live in a world where 80 people, yes that is 80, have the same amount of money as the 3.5 billion of the poorest in the world. There is something wrong with that surely?
