Welcoming our feelings

The more we allow our feelings to be and welcome them, especially when it’s sadness, frustration, anger and so, the quicker they subside and pass.

When we resist and fight against our feelings they become energised, they grow and we become them. They stay and we suffer.

All things in life are there for a reason, welcome them all.

What lessons can we learn?

Whatever we choose to. That comes from the mindset we adopt towards things we hear.

When we move away from judging and evaluating what we are hearing and the person who is saying them, we can learn anything.

Normally, we only hear the judgemental version. Our brain filters what they say to what we think they are saying based on our evaluation. Often, we only hear like continuous noise in our heads, not the word the person is actually saying.

If we listen without evaluation, we hear the actual words. If we choose to have a learner mindset free of judgement, then who knows what we can learn as the opportunities then become limitless.
