Think and do the opposite

Want to sleep and can’t? The harder we try to will ourselves to sleep the harder it becomes.

Just do the and think the opposite, will yourself to stay awake, try to stay awake.

You will fall asleep.

It’s a way of relaxing and not pressuring about the outcome.

The harder we try to create an outcome it brings a negative resistance.

Let go, think and do the opposite, whatever that is, it releases all the tension and then the outcome is not the focus.

Don’t care

When we care about the outcome we are not authentic, we try too hard, we focus on engineering the result.

Outcomes are nearly always uncertain, however, we are taught to expect or want certainty. They are out of our control.

Forget about the outcome, just don’t care.

Care about doing something you love, about being genuine, about crafting your very best work.

Once you say to yourself ‘I don’t care’, magically the pressure is lifted on the outcome, you relax and are then more likely to do your best.

Letting go of things is a truly powerful thing.

Resistance is a negative drain.

Care free is hugely uplifting.
