I can’t hear you

In my bubble, I am right
I see you but you’re outside
My views are right
My bubble is right
Everyone I know is in my bubble
We can’t all be wrong
If I hate you, I must be right
If I shout, it makes it so
If I ridicule you, I have a good reason
There can not be a different view
That would mean that we are wrong
And I already know you are wrong
You are not in my bubble
In my bubble, I can’t hear you

Set in stone

Sadly our world is made up of bubbles of the same opinions, that are often filled with people whose views are set in stone and rigid.

If we want change, we’ll have to step outside our bubbles and learn to be porous. We’ll need to let other opinions that we don’t like to be filtered through the rock so we can adapt them.

Stonecast views allow no compromise and change needs flexibility, not rigidity.
