Ship it

IMG_8242

You can keep polishing something, hoping for yet greater levels of shine.

Perfection, even if it were attainable, would only last a brief moment until someone or something else out-perfected it.

Imperfect is actually what makes anything special, special.

Concentrate on doing something that is new, not merely putting a different coat of paint on somebody else’s work or what you did before. Make something that will stand out, but don’t take forever, just ship it, get it out there to the world.

After all the best way to learn is to try, and try, and try, and try again. Making your creation better each time.

Practice makes better not perfect.

Ship not shine, it will give you the edge on the people who feel the need to polish instead of creating.

The falling tree

IMG_8132

If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around to hear it, does it make a sound?

It’s a bit like our message, if there is no one there to hear it, it will not make a sound.

An audience for our message can only be built if we create something that is remarkable to bring them to the forest, otherwise you’ll be felling trees until there is no forest left, hoping someone might hear it.
