Congratulations

When was the last time you congratulated yourself? As in really saying ‘well done’ or ‘that’s amazing’ or ‘wow, you’re so good at that’ and so on.

Say, like you would to your partner, kids, a good friend or a work colleague.

The fact is we can be super kind, appreciative and complementary to others, yet harsh on ourselves.

Try it, become your No 1 biggest fan.

Reaction

After the initial few moments, we have the choice to think about how we are going to react to any situation that comes our way in life.

We control that choice, no one else.

We have the power of that decision, how we react.

The reaction to any situation has an outcome and we alone are responsible for that.

Sure, initially there can be anger, disappointment, shame, upset and so on. But within a matter of a second or two, we can then choose what happens.

There have and will be more enough opportunities in our lives to learn what reactions lead to what outcomes.

Our reaction is a choice that we control.
