Giving doesn’t have a shelf life

Giving isn’t a tool.

Giving isn’t marketing.

Giving isn’t a business strategy.

Giving isn’t giving if it has an expected return.

Giving isn’t a thing to do for a bit

Giving is a way of life.

Giving is there to nourish our soul.

Giving is there to bring us inner joy.

Giving is one of the great gifts of being human.

Giving enables real connection.

Giving enables us to be who we really are.

Giving enables us to be free, to belong.

Giving does not have a shelf life.

Attention

IMG_8398

We live in a world that has created an almost addictive craving for ‘attention’ from others.

Plugged into the ether via a multitude of devices, we search to be noticed, we demand it.

Real attention comes from saying, creating or doing something meaningful, soulful and heartfelt. Doing something that matters to us. Then, the people who notice and appreciate us are the only ones that are important. There may only be a few but big numbers are just big numbers, they are not better.

Concentrate on giving to the world with no expectation, because the attention you get will be what makes life truly magical.

Craving attention only gives you emptiness as you try to create for an ‘audience’. Create and share what you love, do not seek or expect anything from others.
