Building a spaceship

We often spend a great deal of time and energy in our lives building spaceships. Well, not real ones, but in our heads. We take something simple, and we add, and add, and add until it is very complex.

Each layer of complexity that we build is another layer to stop us from starting something.

Simple things are easy to start so we make them complex, needing perfection before we can do.

Perfection is the shield to stop us starting.

Keep things simple and start.

Another step

Many have learnt the power of daily rituals, of taking the small steps and do little bits towards a much larger goal.

However, many become caught in a rut or give up as they have waited too long for a perceptible improvement.

The fact is, always take another step, no matter how far you think you have come. Many miss the greatest things in life because they did not take just one more step.

It’s easy to take the steps when it’s new, but many months on or even years in, we hit tough days, we lose our belief, we falter. It’s at these moments that one more step really counts.

Take another step.
