And then I thought

'Thought' by Philip Dodson

I want to do…

And then I thought.

I’d like to make…

And then I thought.

My heart tells me to say…

And then I thought.

I’d love to…

And then I thought.

My soul aches to be the light…

And then I thought.

This is the cycle we get trapped in when the mind is energised and we associate with our thoughts. Thinking halts action.

Be still, be conscious, allow this moment to be, let your thoughts float by and leave. Fear will subside and dissolve. Creativity flows from the soul and we then use our mind as the amazing tool that it is to manifest that creativity not to sabotage us with the ramblings of the untrained mind and its ego.

Life is like cards

We could choose not to cry about the hand we got dealt or we could be a victim.

We can change it anytime and we can always play another hand…now.

Life is a fun game that we make the rules to, if we choose to see it that way, or we can listen to our mind and believe it’s all serious and stay stuck.

If you love playing cards, you’ll love life…no game is ever the same and the possibilities are endless. It’s not about winning or losing, it’s about being at the table, taking part and having fun, knowing there’s always the next hand.

However, to enjoy it you have to have the right approach, belief, positivity and a smile.
