For a few weeks now I have been hovering over the ‘launch now’ button on my new biz website, which Bernie and I have been working on using the fab Rainmaker platform.
I have been umming and ahhing about various elements (excuses), however, more honestly, I have been shit scared of the technical bit of launching the site. I have literally gone into cold sweats, thinking ‘what if that goes wrong’ etc.
Today I pushed the button and within less than an hour, following a very simple change to the DNS settings for the domain, the site was live.
It was simple and easy. OK so the site does need a bit more work, but no good striving for perfect, just ship it.
The fact is in life, 99.99% of things are much more straightforward and easy than we imagine beforehand.
Just press the button.
