I’ve been listening to some Brene Brown stuff on Audible, and I love her work, and she does a huge amount of research about shame, vulnerability and many other things. She was talking to a group of 3,000 people engaged in social work in the US and she was talking about love and she asked the audience ‘how many did research about love?’ and only 2 people in a room of 3,000 put their hands up. Then she said ‘if I asked you to leave this room and never experience love again, who would?’ and no one put their hands up.
So we all care so much about love but it is funny how little we talk about it or look to it for the way to make decisions in our lives. Imagine if we only made decisions out of love? How would the world be different?
