Pictures or videos of cute kittens, fluffy dogs, owls, furry things, of ice cream and food will get more likes, shares, RT’s and coverage on the social channels than say world poverty.
Posting something on climate change, corruption, war, famine or other serious injustices to fellow humans can sometimes get little attention.
Cuteness is obviously more appealing than ‘ugly’ issues. How do we make these critical and ‘ugly’ issues have more appeal to the world?
Or do we have to accept that the human cares only about what affects them directly right now?
Maybe, we look differently at serious issues and simply convey them to the world via pictures and video showing what impact they will have on fluffy kittens and bowls of ice cream.
Then there would be more shares.
Cute kittens could save the world.
