In 1998 we bought our son, for his first ever Christmas, the book ‘The night before Christmas’ by Clement C Moore.
Every year since, on Christmas Eve, we have read it as a family, wherever we have been and whoever has been there to listen to it.
Variety in life is important, but so are the little traditions that grow up in your life too. Our son is 17 now and we all still want to listen to it today.
These are the things that you will remember at the end of the journey, not what bills you paid, stuff you bought or how much money you earnt.
Enjoy the small traditions that you have with the people who matter in life.
